Brimonidine
  • Eye drops 0.2% (£1.99 = 5ml)

Dose

  • Apply twice a day

Notes

  1. For use in those patients who are inadequately controlled by other anti-glaucoma therapy, or in whom beta-blockers are contra-indicated
  2. There is a high incidence of ocular reactions with long-term use of brimonidine, for example sore red eyes, usually of delayed onset (after several months).
Brimonidine/ Timolol
  • Eye drops brimonidine 0.2%, timolol 0.5% (£13.64 = 5ml)

  • Apply twice a day

Apraclonidine
  • Eye drops 0.5% (5ml)
  • Single use preservative-free eye drops 1% (0.25ml unit dose)
