Brimonidine
  • Eye drops 0.2% (£2.54 = 5ml)

Dose

  • Apply twice a day

Notes

  1. For use in those patients who are inadequately controlled by other anti-glaucoma therapy, or in whom beta-blockers are contra-indicated.
  2. There is a high incidence of ocular reactions with long-term use of brimonidine, for example sore red eyes, usually of delayed onset (after several months).
Brimonidine / Timolol
  • Eye drops brimonidine 2mg/ml / timolol 5mg/ml (£15.71 = 5ml)

  • Apply twice a day

  1. Licensed for use in those patients who are inadequately controlled by beta-blockers alone.

Apraclonidine
  • Eye drops 5mg/ml (5ml)
  • Single use preservative-free eye drops 1% (0.25ml unit dose)
