Pregnancy Crisis Care

Pregnancy Crisis Care (Plymouth & South East Cornwall) is able to offer counselling, information and support for any issues relating to a crisis in/around pregnancy, as well as related to a pregnancy loss..

All services provided by Pregnancy Crisis Care are free, impartial and confidential and delivered by trained and trainee counsellors.

Pregnancy Crisis Care (PCC) are able to offer counselling, support and information for:

  • Unexpected pregnancy - time to explore all options;
    • Impartial counselling and support;
    • Sign-posting to other agencies as appropriate; and
    • Free pregnancy tests (please ensure an early morning sample is provided in a clean, sterile, safe container)

Counselling and support is also offered for:

  • Those suffering complex grief associated with baby loss (miscarriage, stillbirth, new-born death, failed IVF, fertility issues, ectopic pregnancy)
  • Those experiencing perinatal anxiety or depression
  • Those experiencing emotional difficulties after termination - elective or for medical reasons.
  • Those experiencing anxiety within a current pregnancy.
  • Those experiencing birth trauma.
