Aquacel Foam should be considered as a first line option when a hydrofiber and a foam dressing in combination is required.

Hydrocolloid-fibrous dressings

Aquacel Extra

(Soft, sterile, non-woven pad dressing composed of Hydrofiber)

  • Square pad 5 x 5cm (£1.08), 10 x 10cm (£2.57), 15 x 15cm (£4.84)
  • Rectangular pad 4 x 10cm (£1.40), 4 x 20cm (£2.08), 4 x 30cm (£3.14), 20 x 24cm (£11.81)

Indications

  • For use in leg ulcers, pressure ulcers, surgical wounds, donor sites, abrasions, lacerations, first-and second-degree burns, traumatic wounds, and painful wounds

Notes

  1. Take care not to select similarly named product Aquacel Ag which contains silver.
  2. Change frequency / wear time = every 3-7 days
UrgoClean Pad

(A sterile, non-adherent, slough-trapping, poly-absorbent fibre dressing)

  • Pad 6 x 6cm (£1.03), 10 x 10cm (£2.29), 15 x 15cm (£4.16), 20 x 15cm (£4.31)

Indications

  • For use in all non-infected sloughy wounds

Notes

  1. Change frequency / wear time = every 1-2 days initially then when required
