COVID-19: Plymouth Mental Health Service Guide

Scope
This information provides contact details for the management of patients with mental health difficulties across Plymouth during the Covid-19 pandemic.
Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS)
GPs get in touch through SPOC even if is for advice and also duty clinician every day 09:00 to 17:00 who would be able to get in touch with doctor if what is needed is psych advice.

Community Mental Health Teams (CMHTs)
Doc2doc email advice or to speak to a psychiatrist. The generic email ensures that the query will not be missed due to leave/sickness

Struggling with your mental health? Call our First Response number 01752 434922 for advice, support and signposting from one of our mental health professionals.
The service is available between 24 hours a day, seven days a week to anyone aged over 18 in Plymouth experiencing a mental health crisis.

Insight is the Early Intervention in Psychosis Service for Plymouth; we remain open for referrals.

Perinatal Mental Health Team
The Perinatal Consultant Psychiatrist (Dr Dimitrios Tsiakiris) would like to make you aware that he is more than happy to be contacted to offer advice where needed, this would be around any medication queries for post or perinatal ladies.
In addition, we have Perinatal Mental Health Nurses available Monday - Friday 9:00 to 17:00 via email or phone to offer any advice you might need.
This can be done via email (livewell.perinatalmht@nhs.net) or phone (01752 431607) or on teleconferencing platforms (such as Zoom, MS Teams or Skype).
