Please follow the link to read the full briefing from Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly Health and Care Partnership advising that as the system moves out of the first phase of COVID 19, the current requirements for sending dermatology referrals through to secondary care providers is changing.
Consultant Connect has been trialled for sharing images direct between primary and secondary care since April 2020. With immediate effect it will no longer be necessary to send all urgent and non-pigmented lesions to RCHT via Consultant Connect first.
GPs will simply be asked to make their referrals via the e-Referral Service or request advice via the Advice & Guidance service which is now reinstated on e-RS. The sharing function of Consultant Connect to RCHT will be switched off effective Friday 17 July 2020.
