Active Wellbeing: A physical exercise and lifestyle programme for Musculoskeletal conditions - Western locality

A group exercise and education programme consisting of both classroom and practical sessions is now available for independently mobile patients experiencing MSK issues.

This free individualised programme is being delivered by Nuffield Health, Plymouth and Care UK, Peninsula NHS Treatment Centre, with support provided from the University of St Mark and St John, Plymouth.

The physical activity and lifestyle programme will run for a rolling period of 6 weeks, consisting of a 2 hours session each week. Sessions will be aimed at encouraging a physically active lifestyle ad each one will provide a difference practical and educational focus, designed to develop safe and effective aerobic fitness, flexibility, core activation, stability, and muscular strength and endurance.

Patients can self-refer themselves to either one of the programmes using the contact details provided below and on the MSK Programme leaflet.
