Specialist Advice and Guidance Expertise (SAGE)

Urology and Gastroenterology SAGE

In July 2016 a letter went to all Western and East Cornwall practices from the Elective Care team, advising Practices that Specialist Advice and Guidance Expertise (SAGE) for Urology started on the 1st August and Gastroenterology started on the 8th August 2016.

There is no change to the referral process for GP practices, please continue to send referrals to DRSS as normal who will direct your referral to the new Plymouth Hospital NHS Trust Consultant SAGE service. Referring GPs will receive Management Plans for those patients that do not require an outpatient appointment and can be managed in Practice.

Feedback is welcomed, please use the SAGE feedback form and email the completed form to the Project Delivery Team.
