Notes
- Doxycycline 40mg is included for the treatment of rosacea
- Dispersible tablets are considerably more expensive than capsules and should be reserved for use only in individuals who are unable to swallow capsules

Minocycline
Following national guidance from NHS England, minocycline is not recommended for use for the treatment of acne due to an increased risk of adverse effects such as drug induced lupus, skin pigmentation and hepatitis.
